SCHUPPENPANZER®-Unigrund-P is a fast-drying, high-build universal primer specially developed for the protection of steel, zinc and aluminium. This primer forms the basis for a robust coating system offering long-term corrosion protection and is also suitable for rigid PVC. Thanks to its permanently elastic, age-resistant binder base, SCHUPPENPANZER®-Unigrund-P offers reliable protection against corrosion and is particularly resistant to extreme temperatures of up to 80°C (under continuous exposure up to 60°C).

Application instructions:
- Substrate preparation: The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease. For steel, blast cleaning to a metallic bare surface (SA 2 ½) is recommended to ensure long-term corrosion protection.
- Coating system: Single coat of SCHUPPENPANZER®-Unigrund-P, overpaintable with solvent-based one- and two-component paints.
- Application method: Brush, roller or spray (compressed air or airless) – apply carefully without excessive pressure to ensure an even film thickness.
Drying time:
- Recoatable after 2 to 3 hours (at 23°C and 50% relative humidity).
Coverage:
Approx. 5 m² per litre with a dry film thickness of 80–100 µm.
Packaging sizes:
Available in container sizes of 750 ml, 2.5 l and 12.5 kg net.
