Anchor plates securely and firmly connect wrought iron elements and other components to a substrate such as a wall or floor. They can be used, for example, to anchor fence posts or railings into the ground, or to secure decorative wrought iron elements to a wall. Anchor plates for small and large tasks

At FeNau, we stock anchor plates with a material thickness ranging from four to ten millimetres. Square anchor plates are available in sizes such as 100 x 100 or 150 x 150. These plates are available with four corner holes and one centre hole, as well as cover plates with just two side holes. For round anchor plates, the product range spans diameters from 70 to 160 millimetres. The choice of suitable anchor plates depends primarily on the size and, in some cases, the weight of the part to be anchored. For a square anchor plate with four corner holes and a material thickness of five millimetres, a square tube to be anchored in the floor should not exceed dimensions of 30 x 30 millimetres. For anchoring a pipe measuring 80 x 80, however, a 120 x 120 millimetre anchor plate with four corner holes and a material thickness of five millimetres is recommended.

The anchor plates in the FeNau online shop are made of raw S235JR steel. This steel was formerly also known as St 37-2. It is easy to weld, highly formable and has good strength. This makes it an excellent material for metal construction and the building sector. The S235JR steel anchor plates in the FeNau range are all weldable. They can also be galvanised retrospectively to protect them from corrosion. Retrospective painting is also possible. This also offers protection against adverse environmental influences. Furthermore, decorative finishes can serve aesthetic purposes and add attractive accents.
