Stainless steel support brackets: the flexible connector for your handrails
Flexibility is key in metalwork. Often, you don’t need the complete handrail bracket, but are specifically looking for the right support bracket as a single component. Whether for a custom build, replacing a faulty part, or fitting existing posts with a new handrail bracket: our stainless steel brackets are the ideal interface between the substructure and the handrail tube.
We offer this essential component in an enormous variety of designs. Manufactured from high-quality V2A or V4A stainless steel, you will find the technically perfect bracket for every structural challenge – whether steep stairs or a straight landing.
Our variants: Threaded, hinged & welded
Not every handrail is the same. That is why we stock an extensive range of bracket shapes that go far beyond the standard. Please note that these are the bracket attachments only (without wall plates or pins). Choose exactly the version that suits your project:

Rigid brackets (for welding on both sides):
The minimalist solution for the professional. These brackets have no thread and are welded both at the bottom (to the pin/post) and at the top (to the handrail). -
Brackets with a hinge:
Ideal for staircases. The angle of the handrail can be continuously adjusted to the rise via the integrated hinge. -
Variants with 1x thread:
Usually fitted with an internal thread (e.g. M6/M8) on the underside, allowing the bracket to be easily screwed onto a suitable support pin. -
Special brackets with 2x threads:
For maximum flexibility during installation, we offer versions with dual threading (e.g. a combination of internal and external threads) to accommodate different connection types. -
Connection to the handrail:
Choose between a flat mount (for square tubing/wood) or a radius mount (for round tubing Ø 33.7 mm / 42.4 mm).
Frequently asked questions about our support bracket attachments
No. In this category, you will find only the bracket itself (the upper connecting piece). Wall plates, washers or support pins are not included. These individual parts are perfect if you wish to assemble your own brackets or retrofit existing systems.
Threaded brackets (1x or 2x thread)
are easy to install and can often be replaced or adjusted without a welding machine.
Weld-on brackets,
on the other hand, offer the most stable and durable connection. As no screws are visible, they often look more minimalist and elegant (“cast in one piece”).
That depends on the mounting plate. Use brackets with a flat mounting surface for rectangular tubes or wooden handrails. For round stainless steel handrails, you need brackets with a radius mounting surface that fits the tube diameter exactly (common sizes: 33.7 mm, 42.4 mm or 48.3 mm).
