Locinox lock types at a glance

Locinox mortise lock

The mortise lock is the most commonly used solution in gate construction. It is integrated directly into the gate profile and ensures a visually clean, secure lock. The popular LAKQ model features a stainless steel mechanism, a single-turn locking bolt with a 23 mm stroke and a bolt adjustment range of up to 20 mm – without the need for dismantling. The electrostatic-coated lock case withstands 1,000 hours of salt spray testing. Available in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and moss green (RAL 6005).

Locinox combination lock

The Locinox FREE VINCI code lock allows access via a numerical code – completely key-free. Ideal for areas with changing users such as club facilities, communal entrances, underground car parks or supplier entrances. The major advantage: no risk of losing keys, flexible allocation of access codes and convenient everyday use. The weatherproof design also makes the code lock the first choice for high-traffic commercial premises.

Locinox panic lock

In commercial or public areas, solutions are required that allow for rapid opening from the inside in an emergency. The Locinox panic lock ensures that people can leave the premises at any time – even if the gate is locked from the outside. It is suitable for schools, nurseries, sports facilities, storage buildings and all areas where escape routes must be secured.

Locinox magnetic lock

Magnetic locks from Locinox stand out thanks to their quiet, smooth closing action and minimal wear. They are particularly suitable for installations where comfort and aesthetics are paramount – such as swimming pool fencing, hotel entrances or prestigious property entrances. The mechanism is fully enclosed, making it ideal for use in high-humidity environments.

Locinox double-cylinder lock

The Locinox LDKZ double-cylinder lock allows opening and closing from both sides via a profile cylinder. Typical applications include fire brigade access points, refuse collection entrances or property gates that need to be accessible from different sides. The two-turn deadbolt made of solid stainless steel guarantees a particularly secure lock.

Buying a Locinox lock – what to look out for

Not every lock fits every gate. For optimum performance and durability, we recommend checking the following points before purchasing:

  • Gate type: swing, sliding or double-leaf gate? Locinox offers the right solution for every gate type.
  • Profile size: The lock must match the width of the gate profile (e.g. 30–50 mm or 60–80 mm square tube).
  • Spindle size and DIN direction: Crucial for the correct installation position and opening direction.
  • Usage requirements: Private garden or high-traffic commercial access? The requirements for security and robustness differ significantly.
  • System compatibility: Locinox locks, strike plates, handles and cylinders are designed to work together – ideally ordered as a complete system.

Tip: Many Locinox locks can be fitted to open either left or right as standard. This makes planning much easier – especially if the opening direction is still subject to change.
