Stainless steel T-piece for welding

For precise branching and distribution: high-quality stainless steel T-pieces as welded fittings (to DIN 2615 / EN 10253). Whether you need to split a flow or join two pipes together – we offer the right T-piece in V2A and V4A, available in either a matt or polished finish.

Which design do you require?

T-pieces differ significantly in the diameter of the outlet (the ‘neck’ of the T-piece). We stock both common variants:

1. Equal T-piece (Equal)

All 3 openings have the same diameter.

Example: 42.4 mm inlet → 42.4 mm outlet.
Application: Standard pipe distribution or in railing construction, to connect a post centrally to a handrail.

2. Reduced T-piece

The branch is smaller than the main pipe.

Example: 60.3 mm main pipe → 42.4 mm outlet.
Application: When smaller branch pipes are to be tapped off a main supply pipe without having to weld in additional reducers.

Quality & Standard (Flared End)

Our T-pieces are usually manufactured using the flaring process. This ensures a smooth flow transition inside and a stable wall thickness at the critical zone of the branch.

Standard: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 2615 and EN 10253.
Welding ends: All three ends are prepared for a V-groove (butt weld).

Finishes: Industrial vs. Design

As with our pipe bends, you have a choice here too:

Unfinished (matt): The standard choice for technical piping, water supply and chemical plants. Focus on function and price.
Polished (K240/K320): Specifically for visible applications (e.g. balustrade construction, shopfitting). The finish matches polished stainless steel tubes perfectly.

Tip for railing builders:
Use a straight T-piece to guide the handrail cleanly downwards at a 90° angle to the floor (as an end post) or to insert handrail struts. This saves on mitre cuts and ensures maximum stability through welding.
