The Giant: Glass point holder Ø 72 mm – Maximum contact area
When you need just that little bit more: The glass point holder Ø 72 mm is the largest diameter in our standard range. It is used where maximum safety and an impressive appearance are required.
With a generous 72 mm diameter, this holder offers the largest possible clamping surface in this segment. Physically, this means that the contact pressure is distributed extremely widely, which protects the glass even under the highest wind loads or with heavy panes. A component that demonstrates strength and inspires confidence.
🛡️ Certified safety: With AbP
Like our other heavy-duty holders (from Ø 50 mm), the 72 mm model also comes with a General Building Inspection Certificate (AbP).
This is your ‘peace of mind package’ for building approval: its structural suitability is proven. This saves time on visits to the authorities and gives you the assurance of installing a tested product that is suitable for fall protection.
Specialised for flat connections
Unlike the smaller all-rounders, the Ø 72 mm bracket is a specialist. According to our configuration, it is optimised for “flat” connections.
- Application: Ideal for anchoring to concrete walls, solid steel beams, masonry or wide square tubes.
- No compromise: Thanks to its solid construction and the absence of radius cut-outs, this bracket sits rock-solid on any flat surface.
Material selection: Durability guaranteed
Depending on the location of your project, choose the appropriate alloy:
- V2A stainless steel: For indoor use and standard outdoor environments.
- Stainless steel V4A: For coastal projects, swimming pools or industrial environments (maximum corrosion protection).
Note on the design
Like the 70 mm bracket, the Ø 72 mm point bracket is supplied as a fixed unit. It is designed for the heaviest loads and is therefore not intended for individual modifications (e.g. replacement of threaded rods). You receive a fully integrated heavy-duty component for direct installation.
